In a vat of...
The Brain-in-a-vat theory is an idea that a brain in a vat, not attached to a body, could be kept alive and given stimuli to make it believe it was waking up, getting dressed, going to work, drawing monkeys, building websites, eating Thai food, reading books, talking to people and watching old movies. The brain would never realise is was nothing more than a brain in a vat on a shelf collecting dust.
What's it all about?
Inavatof .com is where all of my ideas come together. I always carry a sketch book with me and scribble down ideas for games,
comics, art, puzzles and animations. Inavatof is the best of these scribbles that I remake using Adobe Illustrator.
Inavatof magazine is a downloadable e-zine that I hope to eventually publish as a book so I welcome all feeback
and suggestions, especially from teachers who use the activities in the classroom.
I also welcome submissions of artwork, writing, games or anything that is inavatof by nature. Use this form to send me an e-mail.
If you like inavatof.com, keep an eye out for my work:
• in print (Steve Parish Publishing and Firefly Press)
• on your mobile phone (Moket)
• online (istock, stock exchange, Dojomonkey, Moket)
